The Pattern Holds (The Biden Coup Explained)

So there is a website out there that keeps tracks of various public donations to candidates. It organizes by individuals and PACs (Political Action Committees). It’s called Open Secrets.

The idea is that in an informed democracy, people should know who is funding politicians. It’s that simple.

Over the last few weeks, a very strange thing has been happening. Joe Biden won the democratic primary walking away. He’s very popular with the base, and has led the United States economy and country back to be the leader of the world. Across EVERY ECONOMIC MEASURE he’s done great, as we’ve recovered from a pandemic and then slew inflation. Keeping unemployment low *the entire time*.

Obviously a recipe for a great success. So why have there been so many calls for him to step down?

Why does the elite media hate him so much? If you’ve been following the last few weeks closely, things have gotten very strange. (Quick example: Donald has fallen asleep on multiple nights at the RNC and the campaign *refuses* to release any information on his recent assassination attempt. The media has been silent on both issues.)

So how do we explain this? Why are some Dems (across an odd ideological spectrum) turning on Biden? And who isn’t?

Follow the money. Then understand the whole picture.

The list: Here.

Sen. Peter Welch, D-Vt. (Top Donor: JStreet PAC)

Rep. Greg Stanton, D-Ariz. (Top Donor: AIPAC)

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif (#2 Top Donor: AIPAC)

Rep. Mike Levin, D-Calif (Top Donor: AIPAC)

Rep. Brittany Petterson, D-Colo (Top Donor: AIPAC) (Note: My rep and also take note of Apollo, covered here)

Rep. Jim Himes, D-Conn. (2nd Top Donor: Apollo Global Management) (covered here, it’s the folks who funded Epstein, BTW)

Rep. Brad Schneider, D-Ill. (Top Donor: AIPAC)

Rep. Eric Sorensen, D-Ill. (Top Donor: AIPAC)

Rep. HIllary Scholten, D-Mich. (Top Donor: AIPAC)

Rep. Angie Craig, D-Minn. (Top Donor: AIPAC)

Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash (Top Donor: AIPAC)

Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Wash (2nd Top Donor: AIPAC)

And he’s not on their list, but he’s made his opinion clear….

Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo. (Top Donor: AIPAC)

And my other Senator, who’s also playing footsie with this…

Sen. John Hickenlooper, D-Colo. (2nd Top Donor: JStreet PAC)

So if you are looking for a common thread regarding the slow moving Biden Coup, just follow the money.

If you have a question about *why* these particular PAC’s want Biden gone, that’s a bit more intricate story.

In my understanding, it’s about how the world changed on October 7th. And how American politics changed forever in the events that have followed.

For a bit of back story here (I’ve been following U.S. politics closely since the late 1900’s)….Biden has been *masterful* as playing the middle on the Israel/Palestine issues. The problem is that the extremists on both sides of this issue are largely irrational, inconsolable, and incompatible. A lot of the U.S. wasn’t dominated by protests about Palestine over the Spring like NYC was.

The issue DOMINATED New York news and politics for all of 2024. For those who’ve never lived there, NYC lives in a little media bubble. And when there is news there, it is the ONLY news that breaks through, the bubble has a mirrored surface.

Those protests included a LOT of very violent rhetoric directed at…well…lots of folks. But especially those who have unconditionally supported…well…either side.

While activists on either side want unconditional support for only their side, while demanding we remove any support for the other side.

For an example, see the most expensive Congressional *PRIMARY* race in history, where the same group mentioned above dropped $20,000,000 on a primary race.

How Biden has navigated this, by essentially pissing everyone off (he’s siding with neither side, and has been working HARD to get a cease-fire), but doing the right and decent thing at almost every step.

As a reward, hardcore leftists call him “Genocide Joe” (an obvious reference to what many feel is a genocide happening in Palestine, including the ICC), while Donald literally called him a “Palestinian” during the fated debate. A reference to his support for humanitarian aid for Palestinians and his repeated calls on Israel to stop killing so many people (or face consequences, like a disruption of weapons shipments).

That last bit is the real kicker that explains the rest above. See, Netanyahu didn’t like that. At all. He went pretty public about it in late June. For those donors, noted above, this was the last straw. They trust Bibi a LOT more than US DoD officials.

What had been deemed an existential threat in October, followed by months and months of sometimes violent, very confrontational protests on their own door-step, and finally an opening via the bad debate (which rarely gets mentioned in the discussion now, as Biden has had multiple very effective public “tests” since then), and the call was made. Biden needs to go.

So, here’s the thing about that. Biden has clearly, unequivocally, repeatedly, stated he’s not getting out of the race. *HE KNOWS WHO’S FUNDING THIS.* Again, that’s been clear to him since day 2 of this whole charade.

If Biden is forced from the race (and isn’t dead), Democrats will be electorally slaughtered across the country. At this point, I feel AIPAC is perfectly fine with that. They should be asked directly about it.

Donald has promised Israel carte blanche in their efforts to “kill them all,” which is a lot closer to many Democratic donors position than Biden’s “basic human decency and compassion.” The Israeli Knesset recently voted to reject a “two-state” solution, which is Biden’s chosen path.

But literally any watcher of politics, and Biden himself know, if he has to humiliate himself and step down, then every Dem will have to explain why they waited so long, and it will be a shitshow of epic proportions. And they will be crushed. Confidence matters in politics and leadership.

Biden knows this.

Biden beat Donald in 2020. We have the same electorate, same candidates. Donald has been convicted of felonies and Jan 6th happened.

The economic conditions have almost never been better. Biden should be cruising.

This post and the explanation regarding our media here are the reasons he is not.

If he stays in the race, he’ll win in November.

And now you know why some people don’t want him to.

Update: Stories like this have been common over the last year.  Our media doesn’t really cover them.

Update2: We are starting to get some names.  But still no direct questions about the “why”.  Many of these folks are older than Biden.

Update3: The pattern holds.

Rep. Jim Costa, D-Calif (Top Donor: AIPAC)

Update4: The pattern holds.

Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont. (Top Donor: AIPAC)

Update 5: The pattern holds.

Rep. Marc Veasey, D-Tex. (Top Donor: AIPAC)

Update 6: The pattern holds.

Rep. Morgan McGarvey, D- Kent. (Top Donor: AIPAC)

Update 7: The pattern holds.

Rep. Greg Landsman, D-Ohio (Top Donor: AIPAC)

Update 8: The end result of the pattern holding for this long with this intensity.

We’ll see what happens next. It will be a shitshow of epic proportions, either way. American politics, eh?
