When I was but a lad, we learned a simple mnemonic to help remember the names of the Great Lakes.

HOMES

Huron

Ontario

Michigan

Erie

Superior

It’s a simple one, it works, and it stuck.

With Executive Order [note: he doesn’t even appear to number then any longer] and the quick capitulations by various corporate lickspittles, Lake Ontario has been renamed to Lake America.

As HAMES is not a word, I would propose a new mnemonic for the Great Lakes.

SHAME

Superior

Huron

America

Michigan

Erie

Every time the Great Lakes are named, we should be reminded of the SHAME of electing a child raping demented felon to the office of the President of the United States.

Shame on us all.
