This day existed, somewhere in the possible future, six months ago. This feeling was out there, off in the possibilities, a year back, or more.

Political winds shift and feelings flows, and such is how a Democracy is supposed to function. We will be tested on the core aspects of our functional democracy over the next two years, but today, as it stands, marks a day of American rebirth.

The issue we’ve long had with our system of government, as humans, is that humans are corruptible and decay over time. What once was is no longer the same, and the river has flowed, even the same place, it’s always changing.

Donald Trump is a historically corrupt and decrepit old man. He is a horrible human being, failing some of the most basic tests for decency that humans have derived. But *our system of government* assumes the President of the United States is an honorable, decent man (like Joe Biden).

Our laws depend on this assumption. They depend on the idea that the President *who enforces the laws of this country* would also be bound by them. That is now how Donald views the nature of Law. Donald is hopelessly corrupt and has long been a fan of a fascist ideas and rule.

Now we see how the Congress of the United States, which (according the Constitutuion) actually exists and has a role in our government, will function now in opposition to completely out of control and unpopular Executive branch, led a by a decrepit old fool, quickly falling deeper into dimentia.

Our economy, the *envy of the world* two years agao, now teters on the edge of recession **ALL BECAUSE OF DECISIONS DONALD HAS MADE**. Which we are not **CURRENTLY** in an economic malaise, without quick correction, the comeuppance will be legendary.

Folks are already noticing this with insurance rates (and meat, and gas, and etc.).

So we shall see how quickly a ship like this can be corrected. Evevyone wants things to be done immediately, and that’s tough with the way *Congress* works (and recall, it’s Congress that now we are depending on).

But if we can maintain a bit of *patience and stability* and understand we need this same energy in 2028 *regardless of names of the ballot*, we may be able to roll into the 2030’s in a better place as a country.

Because the the 2030’s are going to be wild, like flying robots and shit wild.

Best to start preparing now.
